The 50+ Ski Club of Long Island, New York has been in existence for about 20 years. Vail 2005 It has a membership of about 150 adults aged 50 and older. The only requirement for membership is age. Most members live in either Nassau or Suffolk Counties in New York but some members live in New Jersey, Manhattan, or even farther away. Meetings are held once a month except for the summer. The main goal of the club is skiing but during the off season the club arranges other activities for its members. The club has a newsletter that is mailed to its members once a month. Dues are $25 for a single or $40 for a married couple.

Ski club members have fun whether it is a ski trip to Colorado, a club meeting, or a white water rafting trip down the Delaware Park City 2007 River. Members enjoy the company of one another and enjoy the togetherness that develops on a trip. Some members go on many trips while others take only one big trip a year. There are ski trips in the winter and other type of outdoor trips the rest of the year. If you are interested in finding out more about the club check the other pages on this website.
